LANSING, Mich., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Cade Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: CADE) announced today the signing of $6.3 million in new contracts for delivery in 1997. The primary contracts are from General Electric, Singapore Airlines, and the U.S. Government. With the receipt of these orders, Cade's backlog totals $34.1 million.
The new contracts are in the company's three core areas of engine test equipment, engine components manufacturing and overhaul and repair. The company received an order for the new GE 90 engine and is now under contract to provide test nacelle equipment for the world's largest thrust engines from Pratt & Whitney, General Electric and Rolls-Royce.
